The system works by keeping hot water constantly circulating around your system. The traditional method is to heat the water in a tank, then when you turn on the hot water faucet it joins the queue behind the cold water already in the pipe. This is where the delay comes from, the cold water already sitting in the pipe has to be flushed through before the hot water you’ve been waiting for arrives.
The system is run by a pump, connected to your water heater. With the aid of some bypass valves the pump keeps hot water moving around your pipes. This is what provides the instant hot water. There is no cold sitting there waiting to escape, it’s all hot!

Installation is pretty straightforward. We attach the pump to the water heaters line out and a valve to each faucet, shower, bath or whatever. This allows the system to keep the water moving around your system without making any noise or needing any maintenance.
When we used to install a heat recirculation system, it used to involve plumbing a return line all round the house back to the heater. Now we don’t have to do that so it save hundreds of dollars and hours of time!
This kind of system is ideal for the busy household where water, and time is a premium.
